After years of working with creative entrepreneurs, we saw a persistent problem; they were spending far too much time on administrative tasks and scheduling when that time could be spent growing their business. To solve this problem, we developed an innovative system of handling your administrative work so you don’t have to. 

ELEV8’s founders Alan Lott & Josh Jordan created our system by using it in their own careers. 

Alan is a tattoo artist with nearly two decades of experience and the owner of two successful shops in Durham, NC - Sacred Mandala Studio and Catharsis Studio. Throughout his career, Alan experienced firsthand the nearly impossible task that many creative entrepreneurs face:

All while working full-time. 

Alan eventually found himself sacrificing time he could be spending doing the things he loves in order to handle all of the tasks mentioned above. It was at that point he partnered up with Josh so Josh could handle the latter and Alan could focus on the former. 

Josh took over all of Alan’s day-to-day admin tasks from answering incoming emails to booking appointments and making sure Alan’s schedule fit into the lifestyle Alan wanted to live -- not the other way around. 

Through years of working as a team, Alan and Josh perfected their system of managing Alan’s constantly growing business and began offering that system to other tattooers. Since then, Josh has worked with several tattooers and seen just how much the service he offers can improve their lives. 

After countless success stories, Alan and Josh realized that what they had created needed to be made accessible to other creative entrepreneurs. From there, ELEV8 Management & Consulting was born.
